More About Max
Max has always loved fitness and healthy living. After breaking his leg on two separate occasions whilst playing semi-professional football, he underwent a period of intense rehabilitation. He is now keen to share the knowledge and techniques of this difficult time.
Max’s passion for what he does and for helping others is seen in every aspect of his work. Known as Mr Positive by his clients he is incredibly upbeat, inspiring, encouraging and motivational. He focusses on helping each individual achieve their potential, changing their mind-set from “I can’t do this” to “Yes – you can”. His incredibly positive and energetic personality and attitude is infectious. He pushes you to your limits to achieve things that you never thought possible.
When thinking of personal trainers and boot camps images of sergeant majors screaming at you whilst your crawl through mud probably come to mind. Well, mud and rain may be involved, but otherwise Max is the complete opposite. His unique approach and style is all about unfaltering motivation and encouragement to inspire individuals to keep going, to aim higher and get the absolute best from themselves. And it works! His clients notice immense rewards. They feel fitter, eat healthier, sleep better, are slimmer, drink less, have more energy, run faster, achieve their goals and perhaps, most importantly, believe in themselves.
Max’s training sessions and boot camps are always varied. There is never the same session twice. You will never get bored! The combination of his knowledge and enthusiasm means that exercises are tailored to your level and goals. His clients have likened him to a dad cheering his children on at sports day. He won’t let you give up. He keeps encouraging you until you get the best from yourself and is genuinely pleased when your do well. Max’s sense of humour, dancing and singing, (as well as his willingness to go the extra mile for each person) create a fun environment where clients of differing abilities encourage and support each other.

Specialist Areas
Running
Running is one of Max’s personal hobbies – he has taken part in many 10k’s, half marathons and marathons. Max is always keen to share this passion with others and help them start running, improve their running or achieve new PB’s.
Core Strength
Good core strength is much more than having a flat stomach and good abs. Your core is involved in almost every movement and therefore core training needs to focus on all areas (e.g. your back muscles, glutes, obliques).
Weight Loss
When trying to lose weight loss exercise alone will not achieve the best results. You need to take a holistic approach which consider other aspects such as nutrition and lifestyle factors (e.g. stress, alcohol consumption).
Box-Exercise
This is a fun and challenging way to work out. Learning to jab, hook, cross and uppercut can not only help you lose weight it can also improve your hand-eye coordination, stamina, core strength and flexibility.
Functional training
This helps you to improve your movements, strength, endurance and flexibility needed for everyday and different sports.
Dietary advice
Nutrition is an important part of a balanced lifestyle. MK27.Fitness can work with you to ensure that what you eat helps you achieve your goals.
Bootcamp
A fun group environment where no two sessions are the same . A mix of people with varying abilities – all encouraging each other to achieve their best.
BODY COMPOSITION ANALYSIS
Gives you more information regarding your body than a simple pair of scales would. It helps you to know about your body fat, muscle mass and water content. this can help tailor your fitness programme more to your requirements. Keeping track of these measurements will help you to stay motivated as you process.
